Thank you

I am grateful and humbled by all the support I received throughout California. My wife Dianne and I have sincerely enjoyed this campaign and are proud of all the efforts put forth by my supporters, contributors and campaign team.

This has been an extremely hard fought campaign on the issues and we came up a bit short. While I have had substantive policy differences with my opponents, as Republicans we have far more in common than what divides us. I congratulate the victor and now we must all look toward November.

I now turn my attention back to the State Senate where I will continue to work to get our economy moving, lowering taxes and reducing the onerous government regulation that have a stranglehold on California farmers, businesses and families.
